PhD in Philology, Research Associate at the Manuscripts Department of the National Library of Russia, Associate Professor at the Department of Russian Literature History.
The course attempts a comprehensive view of the ‘Pushkin phenomenon’ and his place in Russian culture. The lectures cover the poet's creative evolution and biography, as well as the interpretation of his literary legacy in the 19th–21st centuries.
Total learning hours of 24 hours (Total length of the courses video 15 hours 42 minutes)
1. Learners know the patterns of Russian literature development in the first half of the 19th century.
2. Learners know the main milestones in the biography and work of Alexander Pushkin.
3. Learners can perceive and articulate literary information.
4. Learners can interpret artistic works based on available scientific information.
5. Learners master skills in analysing artistic texts.
It's suitable for those who want to study 19th-century Russian literature and Pushkin's biography.
