Course Descriptions
This course demystifies statistics and probability through the lens of everyday "luck." Learners will journey from data acquisition, data visualization, and descriptive statistics to the fundamentals of probability rules, Bayesian inference, and discrete distributions. Integrating cutting-edge AI tools with robust statistical thinking, this course empowers participants to develop data-driven intuition and master actionable decision-making.
Total Learning Hours
8 hours (Total length of the course video 5 hours 45 minutes)
Learning Objectives
1. Learners will be able to organize, clean, and visualize datasets while accurately interpreting essential descriptive statistical metrics.
2. Learners will be able to master core probability principles and conditional inference to rigorously evaluate uncertainty
3. Learners will be able to apply discrete probability models to analyze real-world scenarios
4. Learners able to model continuous random variables and understand
sampling distributions to lay the groundwork for statistical inference.
5. Learners can formulate and evaluate regression models to assess
relationships between variables and make data-driven predictions.
Target Learners
This course is designed for the general public interested in everyday data statistics and curious about leveraging AI for statistical analysis.
Evaluation
