Course Descriptions

Welcome to the course. Climate change is reshaping our environment and health, making the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) essential for a resilient future. Led by Taipei Medical University, this six-week program provides a comprehensive introduction to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. You will explore the critical link between ecology and human health through three primary lenses: maintaining safe water resources via bioindicators, managing mosquito-borne diseases, and understanding the severe impacts of air pollution on respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Beyond physical threats, you will also examine how sustainable development supports mental well-being. By analyzing these interconnected issues, you will gain the practical knowledge to identify key SDG targets and contribute to healthier communities worldwide.
